Creative Writing (English & Hindi)

Time Limit: 30 minutes (15 + 15 minutes)
- Each team has to choose one prompt from the bowl, both of the teammates will be allowed to see it.
- The first participant will be provided 15 minutes to write a composition. During this time the second participant will not be allowed to see the write-up.
- After 15 minutes, the first participant will have 30 seconds to share a gist of their write- up with their partner.
- After the discussion the co-writer will similarly get 15 minutes to continue the composition.
- Participants are requested to report at the venue 30 minutes prior to the event and must compulsorily carry their University ID Cards with them.
- Plagiarism of any kind is not encouraged.
- Use of offensive words is not permitted.
- Use of smart phones, smart watches, or any other electronic application is strictly prohibited.
- Decision of the judges will be final and binding.

Hand Painting

Topics (any one) – Nature / Wildlife / Scenery Time Duration: 2 Hours
- Only individual entries are allowed.
- Participants are required to bring their own materials.
- They have to create a painting on a single hand (Palm to Elbow) using different mediums and materials.
- Judgement will be based on concept, creativity, beauty and final presentation.
- Winners of Hand Painting will Qualify for the Face Painting Competition (Inter Institutional).
- Certificate of participation will be given to the models participating in the competition.
- They are expected to bring their ID card with them.
- The participants will have to report 30 minutes prior to the commencement of the event.
- Decision of the judges will be final.

Raaga
Solo / Duet Song Competition

- There shall be two categories
- Solo-Popular Hindi Film / Pop Song
- Duet-Popular Hindi Film / English / Medley
- Participants are required to sing the Mukhra & one Antara of the Song.
- Participants may also use karaoke tracks which they have to bring along with them.
- Judging will be based on-
- Quality of Voice
- Choice of Song
- Rendition of Song
- Winners of the event (Solo Popular Hindi) will be given an opportunity to represent University in Inter Institutional Song Event to be held on 16th February 2023.
- Participants have to report half an hour prior to the commencement of the event.
- They are expected to bring their ID cards with them.
- Decision of the Judges will be final.

Fashion Styling Haute Couture
Set The Stage Ablaze & Get Ready to Strut Down The Ramp

Venue: Draping Lab (B-402)
- Participants are required to style a head to toe look based on the given theme
- Styling includes hairstyle, makeup and accessories
- Theme – Joyful Dressing
- Team Size – 4 Members (Max) Including 1 Model
- Time Duration – 3 Hours
- Styling will be followed by a Ramp Walk which will be judged by a panel of experts.
- Judgement will be based on adherence to the theme, creativity, concept and originality.
- Brownie points for creative & out of the box thinking
- Fashion Garments should be approved by the Activity Coordinators
- Participants have to report half an hour prior to the commencement of the event.
- They are expected to bring their ID cards with them.
- Decision of the judges will be final.

The Foody Affair Cookery Contest - MILLET MIRACLE
Date: 16th February 2023
Time: 10.00 am onwards
Time limit: 2 Hours
Team size: 2-3 participants
Venue: A-301 & C-305 (For Cooking), Srijan Hall (For Display)
Instructions to the participants
- Each team has to prepare and serve (at appropriate temperature) a Snack along with an accompaniment/dip and a Dessert.
- The participants are supposed to prepare and serve 3 portion sizes of the prepared dish.
- The participants are required to bring all the ingredients, crockery, cutlery and other display material like table cover, mats and cloth napkins on their own.
- Separate crockery and cutlery should be arranged for judges.
- Display must comprise of a small-sized menu card mentioning the name of the dishes and their ingredients.
- Decoration of the display area and selection of the menu items should be according to the theme "Millet Miracle". Please note that the main ingredient of the dish should be any of the millets.
- All the pre-preparation like cutting, chopping, boiling, baking, steaming, kneading can be done in advance from home.
- Only assembling of the dish and basic cooking can be done in the cookery laboratories (A- 301 and C-305). Participants can start preparation of the recipe from 10:00 am onwards.
- The display of the recipe should be completed by 12:30 pm in the Srijan Hall.
- No student will be allowed without cooking gears - Apron/lab coat and head scarf.
- For reheating of the dishes, microwave oven can be provided but one must get her own microwave proof dishes.
- No students will be allowed to enter in lab after 10:30 am.
- They are expected to bring their ID card with them.
- Decision of the judges will be final.

- Team may use props and music of their choice. Pre-recorded music is allowed.
- Dialogues should not be pre-recorded.
- Usage of explicit, vulgar and abusive content is strictly prohibited.
- Languages used for the performance may be English / Hindi.
- Topic for AD MAD will be given 5 minutes prior to the performance.
- Participants are expected to bring their ID card with them.
- Participants will have to report 30 minutes prior to the commencement of the event.
- Decision of the judges will be final.

Solo Dance – Shake It Up

Time Limit : Should not exceed 3 minutes
The competition will be held in 3 categories:
Western Dance / Classical or Semi Classical Dance / Folk Dance
- Use of props is permitted (management of the prop is at participants own risks)
- Use of powder, spray, fire etc. is strictly prohibited.
- Fusion of songs and voice overs are allowed.
Participants need to submit their final edited tracks by 13th of February, 2023 on solodance2023@gmail.com . Participants are required to carry their final tracks with them in a pen-drive.
- Exceeding the time limit will lead to negative marking.

- No form of vulgarity or indecency should be expressed in the performance. If otherwise, it will lead to immediate disqualification.

- Participants will be provided with Full Imperial size sheet on which thecollage is supposed to be made.
- Minimum 3 mediums/materials are required to create collage.
- Judgement will be based on adherence to the theme, creativity, neatness, concept, originality and final presentation.
- Participants are expected to carry their ID card.
- Participants will have to report 30 minutes prior to the commencement of the event.
- Decision of the judges will be final.

- Explicit, abusive or vulgar content is not allowed.
