General Guidelines
- All participants must be current students of IIS (Deemed to be) University.
- Participants must always carry their institutional ID cards with them.
- Participants must report to the event venue thirty minutes prior to the commencement of the event.
- Please check the closing dates for registration for various events.
- Participants must arrange their laptops, cameras, and other materials required in an event and ensure that they have a working internet connection.
- Team COSMOS has full and sole discretionary power of expelling participants on the grounds of indiscipline, misbehavior, or any other inappropriate activity.
- Anything that can be perceived as being offensive to national/religious/communal/gender sentiments etc. will lead to immediate disqualification.
- Team COSMOS is not responsible for any event clashes, kindly check the schedule on a prior basis.
- Any issues arising due to technical/connectivity glitches will not be the responsibility of event coordinators or Team COSMOS.
- The University shall not be responsible for any theft or damage of personal belongings.
- Decision of the judges shall be final and binding.

Paint a Bin- Recycle Revival
Date: February 08, 2024
Time: 11:15 am onwards
Venue: Fine Arts Lab
Time Limit: 3 hrs.
Team Size: 4 members per team
- Each team will be provided with a dustbin.
- The dustbin shall be painted on the theme “Social Issue”.
- Participants are required to bring their own materials.
- Judgement will be based on adherence to the theme, creativity, neatness, originality and final presentation.
- Decision of the judges shall be final & binding.

Team Size: Individual Participation
- Participants may present/perform poem, story, ghazal, cosplay/monologue, mimicry, singing/instrumental, dance or beatboxing.
- Language of the performance can be Hindi, English or bilingual.
- Participation will be judged on the basis of voice modulation, articulation, pronunciation & overall presentation.
- Usage of explicit, vulgar & abusive content is strictly prohibited.
- Decision of the judges shall be final & binding.

Team Size: Min. 5 per team
- Use of props is permitted (management of the prop is at participants own risks).
- Use of powder, spray, fire etc is strictly prohibited.
- Fusion of songs and voice overs are allowed.
- Participants need to submit their final edited tracks by 6th of February, 2024 on groupdance@gmail.com. Participants are also required to carry their final tracks in a pen-drive.
- Exceeding the time limit will lead to negative marking.
- Judgement will be based on viewer’s response, costume, expressions, and choreography.
- No form of vulgarity or indecency should be expressed in the performance. If otherwise, it will lead to immediate disqualification.
- Participants must report to the event venue thirty minutes prior to the commencement of the event.

Fashion Styling-Style Symphony
Date: February 08, 2024
Time: 12.00 pm onwards Venue: Fashion Designing Lab
Time Limit: 3 hrs.
Team size: 2 per team
- Participants are required to style a head to toe look based on the given theme
- Theme – Bollywood Bohemian Fusion
- Styling includes hairstyle, makeup and accessories
- Styling will be followed by a Ramp Walk which will be judged by a panel of experts.
- Judgement will be based on adherence to the theme, creativity, concept and originality.
- Brownie points for creative & out of the box thinking
- Fashion Garments should be approved by the Activity Coordinators
- Participants have to report half an hour prior to the commencement of the event.
- Decision of the judges shall be final & binding.

Cookery Competition
Date: February 09, 2024
Time: 10.00 am onwards
Venue: Cookery Lab
Time limit: 2 Hours
Team size: 2-3 participants
- Each team must prepare and serve (at appropriate temperature) a Salad along with an accompanying dressing and a Dessert.
- The participants are supposed to prepare and serve 3 portion sizes of the prepared dish.
- The participants are required to bring all the ingredients, crockery, cutlery and other display material like table cover, mats, and cloth napkins on their own.
- Separate crockery and cutlery must be arranged for judges.
- Display must comprise of a small-sized menu card mentioning the name of the dishes and their ingredients.
- Decoration of the display area and selection of the menu items should be according to the theme “Farm Fresh Fusion.”
- Salad instructions:
- Use fresh fruits and vegetables as the main ingredients. o All salads must be served with proper dressing. o All salads must be completely vegetarian. (no eggs, egg whites, etc.)
- Dessert instructions:
- All desserts must be fruit based.
- Dessert must be served at appropriate temperature.
- All the pre-preparation like cutting, chopping, boiling, baking, steaming, kneading can be done in advance from home.
- Only assembling of the dish and basic cooking can be done in the cookery laboratories (A-301 and C-305). Participants can start preparation of the recipe from 10:00 am onwards.
- The display of the recipe should be completed by 12:30 pm in the Srijan Hall.
- No student will be allowed without cooking gears - Apron/lab coat and head scarf.
- For reheating of the dishes, microwave oven can be provided but one must get her own microwave proof dishes.
- No students will be allowed to enter in lab after 10:30 am.
- Decision of the judges shall be final & binding.

Accessory Design-Vogue Vault
Date: February 09, 2024

Time Limit: 3 hrs.
Team Size: Individual Participation
- Participants are required to design an accessory inspired by a specific historical period or cultural era which will be given at the time of competition.
- Participants are responsible for bringing their own materials and tools for the competition including A3 size sheets, colouring aids, and other necessary stationery.
- Participants must submit a brief description of their chosen historical inspiration and its relevance to the given theme.
- Judgement will be based on creativity, originality, adherence to the theme, overall aesthetic appeal, craftmanship and technique, and presentation.
- Any form of plagiarism or copyright infringement will result in disqualification.
- Decision of the judges shall be final & binding.

Terracotta Plate Design- Earthy Expressions

- The theme of the competition will be “Expressions”.
- Participants are required to bring their own materials.
- Participants will be provided with single terracotta plate on which they are supposed to express themselves.
- Judgement will be based on concept, creativity, neatness, originality and final presentation.
- Decision of the judges shall be final & binding.

- Participants are required to make a reel of the University fest that should not exceed 90 seconds.

the subject ‘Reels.’
- Participants are required to mention the name, programme, and contact number as well.
- Entries must be submitted latest by the 11:59 pm of February 09, 2023.
- Judgement will be based on photographic clarity, creativity, visual appeal, and originality.
- Explicit, abusive, or vulgar content is prohibited.
- Submission of more than one entry will lead to disqualification.
- Decision of the judges shall be final & binding.
